Kinetic Green has launched its vintage DX scooter in electric variant. Kinetic DX has been launched in two variants DX and DX+. The company claims that DX+ will give a range of 116 km on a single charge. At the same time, its top speed is 90 km / h. The starting price of these scooters has been kept at ₹ 1,11,499.
The scooter can be booked from ₹ 1,000. Its delivery can start from October 2025. Apart from this, a standard warranty of 3 years or 30,000 km has been given on the scooter. In the Indian market, the DX scooter will compete with TVS iQube, Bajaj Chetak and Ather Rizta.
Retro-modern look and design of Kinetic DX
The Kinetic DX electric scooter retains the boxy look of the old Kinetic Honda DX. Along with this, it has also been given a modern touch.
Retro Style: The front has boxy LED headlamps (box-shaped), Raptor-shaped LED DRL and backlit flyscreen with KINETIC logo.
Modern Touch: An 8.8-inch colored LCD display has been given like the instrument cluster of the old DX. Along with this, the scooter has a red ready starter button.
Build and Size: The scooter gets a 704 mm long seat with a metal body, 165 mm ground clearance, and 1314 mm wheelbase. It has 12-inch alloy wheels. It has dual-channel ABS and 220mm front disc brakes.
Color Options: DX+ has red, blue, black, white, and silver color. The DX is available only in silver and black.
Kinetic DX Range and Power
Motor and Battery: The Kinetic DX has a 4.8 kW hub-mounted BLDC motor and a 2.6 kWh battery in the floorboard. It lasts for 2,500-3,500 charging cycles.
Range and Speed: The DX has a range of 102 km and a top speed of 80 km/h, while the DX+ has a range of 116 km and a top speed of 90 km/h. Kinetic claims that the range can be up to 150 km with cruise lock at 25-30 km/h.
Charging: The scooter charges 0-50% in 2 hours. 0-80% charge takes 3 hours. Full charge takes 4 hours.
Riding Modes: The scooter gets turbo modes, as well as K-Coast regenerative braking, hill-hold and reverse parking assist.
Kinetic DX Smart Features
Smart Features: 8.8-inch LCD display, Bluetooth connectivity and geo-fencing with Telekinetic app, vehicle tracking and OTA updates.
USB Charging Port: The scooter gets 37-litre under-seat storage that can accommodate a full-face helmet, half-face helmet. Along with this, a USB charging port is also provided.
Other Features: Keyless ignition, password-based ‘Easy Key’ system, guide-me-home lights, and helpline call button on switchgear. DX+ has extra features like anti-theft alarm and ride data analysis.
