Honda is now focusing on electric two wheelers to make a strong hold in the Electric Vehicle segment. Interestingly, now the company is preparing to launch a new electric motorcycle instead of its new scooter in the global market. Honda recently shared a post on social media about the upcoming bike, which indicates testing phase and launch soon.

Honda has confirmed that the company is going to unveil the new electric bike on September 2, in the teaser video shared on Instagram, the design of the bike has been hidden but the bike is shown being driven.

Bike Will Generate 50bhp Power

The company has not yet given any information about this bike, but looking at the teaser, it is known that this model looks like the EV Fun Concept. Let us remind you that Honda introduced the EV Fun Concept at the EICMA Milan Motorcycle Show in October last year. According to media reports, this upcoming bike will generate 50bhp of power.

Apart from this, this bike also has a glimpse of a large digital TFT instrument cluster, DRL at the front, bar-end mirrors, clip-on handlebars as well as a single-side swing arm. Earlier, Honda has confirmed that this electric bike will have CCS2 charging feature, which will give it fast charging capability like electric cars.

170 km Range

As the launch date is approaching, it is expected that more new information about this new electric motorcycle will come out in the coming weeks. For information, let us tell you that Honda has already unveiled its first electric motorcycle E-VO, this bike comes in two battery packs of 4.1kWh and 6.3kWh which gives a range of 120 km and 170 km respectively on a single charge. Note that at the moment Honda has not yet announced the launch of this upcoming bike for India and it may take some more time, as the company is currently focusing on e-scooters in India.
