Desi giant car manufacturer Tata Motors has released the sales data for July 2025. Last month, the company sold 39,521 units of cars in the Indian market. However, during this period, Tata’s car sales saw a decline of 12 percent on an annual basis.
While exactly a year ago i.e. in July 2024, this figure was 44,725 units. This sale includes all types of cars like petrol, diesel and electric. Let us know about the whole news in detail.
Exports increased
On the other hand, Tata Motors did wonders in terms of exports. Let us tell you that in July 2025, the company exported 654 cars. During this period, Tata’s exports saw an increase of 186 percent on an annual basis.
Apart from this, last month, Tata sold 7,124 electric cars including domestic and export, which is 42 percent more than in July 2024.
What does the company say
The company says that there is already an order back of about 10,000 units of Harrier.ev. As soon as the production becomes normal, the sales of the EV segment are expected to increase further. Tata Motors is confident that the demand for passenger cars will increase in the festive season starting from Ganesh Chaturthi.
Also, the new Sierra.ev and all-new Sierra to be launched in the last quarter of this year will further boost the company’s sales. That is, there is every possibility of Tata Motors’ graph going up in the coming months.
