Vivo V60 5G will launch in India later this month, the company has confirmed. Along with this, the design and colour options of the handset have also been revealed. Vivo has also confirmed some of the key specifications of the upcoming smartphone, including chipset, camera, and battery details. It will be equipped with several AI tools as well as Google Gemini AI features. The Vivo V60 5G will be an upgrade to the Vivo V50, which was launched in India in February this year.

The Vivo V60 5G will launch in India on August 12 at 12 noon, the company has revealed in a press release. The smartphone will be available in Auspicious Gold, Mist Gray, and Moonlit Blue colour options. It is confirmed to have a quad-curved display. As per market estimates, the Vivo V60 price in India is expected to be around ₹40,000.

Vivo has revealed that the upcoming Vivo V60 5G will be equipped with Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor. The handset will have a 6,500mAh battery. Talking about the camera, it will have a Zeiss-supported 50-megapixel telephoto camera that will support 10x zoom. It will also come with multifocal portrait modes. The design suggests that the phone will have a triple rear camera setup. Vivo V60 5G is confirmed to launch with Android 15-based FuntouchOS 15.

This phone will support many features of Google Gemini, including Gemini Live. Other AI tools will include AI Caption and AI Smart Call Assistant. Vivo claims that the upcoming V60 handset will get IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water protection.
Earlier leaks claimed that the Vivo V60 may feature a 6.67-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and peak brightness of up to 1,300 nits.

The triple rear camera setup may include a 50-megapixel primary sensor and an 8-megapixel ultrawide sensor. A 50-megapixel sensor can also be given on the front. The Vivo V60 5G is expected to have 90W wired fast charging support. For security, it may include an in-display fingerprint sensor. The handset is expected to have dual stereo speakers.
